Kristina & Tucker :: MARRIED

This is a big one guys! I had such a hard time choosing which photos to post in this blog, so there’s a lot. I guess I’m making up for neglecting to blog my sessions in between last November and now. I will eventually blog those sessions too! But let’s focus on Kristina and Tucker. What a gorgeous day they had!! You never know what kind of weather you’re going to get in Iowa, pretty much at any time of the year, and it kept threatening to rain on their day, but thankfully held off, and was a pretty great temp too. We got to enjoy some beautiful blooming trees in WaterWorks park, got to check a cool new venue in downtown Des Moines, and had a fun time on a party bus and dancing with the night away. It’s always fun when guests get into the dance! A huge congratulations to Kristina and Tucker!! You are a beautiful, sweet, easy going couple, and you made my job easy! I’m happy I get to call you guys friends.

The Main:: FAMILY

I just absolutely love this family. I have had the privilege of photographing Danielle and Robbie from their first anniversary, to their maternity photos, to their family photos. I’ve loved it every time, and this time is no different. It’s so fun to see their family grow, and little Luke (AKA Chip) grow. He was definitely more excited about the leaves on the ground than getting his picture taken, but that’s ok :)

Kristina & Tucker:: ENGAGED

The rain finally stopped, and we had a gorgeous evening for this engagement shoot. And oh how lovely is this couple! I hadn’t met Kristina before our initial meeting, but found out she’s a fellow nurse, and works on a floor that I used to work on at the hospital. Small world huh?! I loved getting to know these two, and can’t wait for their wedding!!
